October 8, 2011 Edition XXXXDellroy, Ohio…..A THIEF AMONGST US !Well even the best of us are sometimes forgetful. Ole Ferdie went to BTM Clays to bust some of those orange discs. A beautiful day, as it always at Skeeter Richards premier shooting compound. I signed up with a squad and went to get my gear. That’s when I noticed my shooting glasses were missing. Then I remembered where I had left them, I was reading with them during my morning sit. I saw Skeeter was about to give one of his famous talks to an out going league team and waited patiently for the epic speech to end. The entire team was standing there waiting, their faces lathered with anticipation of Skeeters words. When the saga ended I inquired about some eye protection. Skeeter informed me that he had some fantastic “Ducks Unlimited” sporting clays glasses inside for sale at his always reasonable prices. They were top quality with numerous colors of lenses that were easily changed. So inside we went to check them out. Skeeter took me over to the display and just stood there looking, and looking, and looking……………empty. Two pair that were on display were gone. Skeeter ask Mike, Dave, Lee, and the girls if they had sold them. No was their response. So, with this said, if you notice some one wearing new eye wear……………… ………………………….enough said ! ! !
